Pay-It-Forward
InsurePay Pay-It-Forward, one of InsurePay’s new programs for 2023, encourages employees to support volunteer activities that enhance and serve the communities in which they live. Employees can volunteer for a cause, charity, or activity of their choice, individually or together with other company members, customers, partners, vendors, retired workers, or board members. The lives of our employees are enriched and inspired when they participate in community engagement activities that are meaningful, purposeful, and help those in need.
InsurePay’s Pay-It-Forward program has been welcomed with open arms!
InsurePay’s CEO Adam Beck & his family got out to help prep garden beds for spring planting at the Village at Glencliff! Shout out to Adam for leading the charge in the InsurePay Pay-it-forward program!
Jessica Pierce volunteered at the Pines of Sarasota, a rehabilitation & senior care community. She played Bingo with the residents, and had a chance to sit down with some ladies to paint their nails and chat! She met one woman who was 105 and another who was 100!
Dave Pusch participated in a charity golf tournament. The final amount is still being counted, but they raised about $25,000.00 for the local food bank and the boys and girls club!
Adam Beck served breakfast at the Nashville Rescue Mission! They served over 500 meals to men, women, and children from the Nashville unhoused community!
In Northlake, Texas, Rebekah Naramore worked with her church, Fellowship of the Parks, to build beds for kids across the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The church has committed to pay for and build 800 beds. So far, they have hit the halfway mark, completing 400 beds year to date!
As a group effort, InsurePay employees gathered in Boston to show off their creative side. Crafting cards for Cradle to Crayons at the Sales Team Pay-it-forward service project!
How will you Pay-it-forward?
Giving back to our communities is important in so many ways. Whether it’s providing support to those in need, raising funds, or raising roofs, volunteering connects us to the cause, strengthens our community, and provides a sense of accomplishment. It’s also a great way to form new friendships, boost self-esteem and self-confidence, and even improves physical and mental health.
How can you Pay-It-Forward in your community?
Examples of Community Impact activities
- Volunteer at a food bank, library, or local hospital
- Clean up public spaces, such as a beach, park, or trail
- Judge a science fair competition
- Serve on a nonprofit board
- Teach an adult English as a second language
- Staff vital hotline services
- Serve as a “phone buddy” to check on seniors
- Build a house for Habitat for Humanity
- Mentor a child as a Big Brother/Big Sister
