Leo Berard is Director of Sales – US at InsurePay, responsible for driving new‑business growth with carriers, agencies, and MGAs across the United States.

A recent addition to the InsurePay leadership team, Leo brings over 25 years of sales and payments experience in the insurance industry to the company.

Prior to InsurePay, he spent many years in merchant services focused on insurance payments, where he was the managing partner for Securfee/PaySouth on the Elavon merchant billing platform, managing high‑volume payment programs.

This experience gives him a deep understanding of how premium payments move through the card networks, how agents and insureds behave at the point of payment, and the economics of processing fees and surcharging in regulated environments.
